Genesis 4:3-13
Cain did the deed because he got angrie at his brother Abel because Abel had offered a proper sacrifice and Cain had not. Cain’s hart may have been in the right place but he did not do what God had told them to do. Instead of admitting his wrong doing Cain got agree and killed his brother as though that would have made God accept his offering.
