Genesis 10:21-31

Genesis 10:21-31 shows  the decedents of Shem. Following Babel they settled mainly in the Middle East and Asia, this is known because these genealogies match up with the ancient names of various nations is in these areas. Verse 25 says of Eber’s son Peleg; “for in his days was the earth divided”, this indicates that Peleg was born at he time of the destruction of the Tower of Babel
