Genesis 6:17-22

Genesis 6:17-22 is the first direct reference to the Flood making a clear indication that it was a global Flood as is indicated by both the descriptions of the victims of the Flood and the description of the Ark’s passengers and cargo.

Genesis 6:11-13

The implications of Genesis 6:11-13 is that there was so much violence on Earth that the human population may have already been in decline. If this was the case the Flood may have actually prevented the extinction of the human race.

Genesis 6:9-10

Genesis 6:9-10 says that Noah was “perfect in his generations” . This is the being of Noah’s tablet or writing. The term “perfect in his generations” seems to indicate that Noah’s family was not involved in the events of his day, specifically those mentioned in verse 2. In fact the Bible is clear by the time of the Flood Noah’s family were the only genuine believers in God left.

This is an article on the births of Shem, Ham, and Japheth mentioned in Genesis 5:32. It is clear from Genesis 11 that not all of these three sons were born in Noah’s 500th year. This is because Shem had a son at age 100, two years after the Flood. Since Noah was 603 at the time Shem would have been born when Noah was 503. The most likely possibility is that Ham, or Japheth was actually the oldest born when Noah was 500.

This is end of Adams’s account and mentions Seth as a replacement for Able, suggesting that Able’s murder took place shortly before Seth was born. There seems also have been a rival at this time with men turning. Seth’s birth seems to have been the catalyst. His birth may have gotten men thinking about God in light of Able’s death.

This is an article and how DNA provides evidence for the Noah’s Flood and the post Babel human migration.

The Genographic Project is project of the National Geographic Society, IBM, geneticist Spencer Wells, and the Waitt Family Foundation. The plan is to determine the migration patterns starting in Africa and going to the rest of the world. The project is continuing but they have parliamentary results, which National Geographic describes in some detail. One factor they left out is the fact that their conclusions are based largly on the assumption of Evolution.

One can also make the Biblical assumption that it started in Iraq. when this is done the data supports the Bible with clear 3 way split in both and the Mitochondria Y-chromosome lines when one starts in Iraq. Now Noah had 3 sons and 3 daughter in-laws. Since the Bible does not indicate that Noah and his wife had any kids after the Flood, we would expect a 3 way spit, and that is what we have.
